Refueling stations will be approximately every mile on the relay and full marathon course. Each refueling station will have water, GU, bars, and Gatorade. The exchange point will have fruit, pretzels, gels, Gatorade, and water to keep you going the distance. Please be prepared with your nutrition plan and use what is provided as a back up. The 5K will have 2 water stops.
BIBS & LEG COLORS
Each leg is color coded with directional signs that match the color of your bib. You will follow the appropriate color markings along the course for the leg you are running. For example: if you are running Leg 4, then you will have a blue color bib and you will follow the blue colored markings along your route. Each team is given one ankle chip to pass between members of your on race morning.
Each team member is required to run a minimum of 1 Leg. Each of the legs must be run in consecutive order. You must pass the chip off to your team member inside the designated exchange point area.
CUMBERLAND TRANSIT CRAZY OWLers
If you are running the full marathon, You will follow the appropriate color markings along the course for the leg you are running. You do not have a ankle chip - your chip is on the race bib. Wear your bib visibly on the front of your shirt for the entire race.
Full Marathon Rules
You must run through the timing split point before continuing on the next leg. Each of the legs must be run in consecutive order. The course cut off time to begin the final leg is 1 pm.
